A Wish Begins with hope
The Make-A-Wish Foundation creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. When a wish comes true, it creates strength, hope, and transformation in a child - and a community. Backyard Breaks, with the help of their community, partnered with Make-A-Wish to raise $128,000 in 2023 for the Foundation. The money raised helped grant the wishes of dozens of critically ill children and their families.

Changing the lives of children
Alex's Lemonade Stand was created by Alexandra Scott at just 4 years of age. After Alex's neuroblastoma diagnosis, she started a lemonade stand in her front yard to help her parents cover the cost of her treatment. By the time of her passing in 2004, Alex raised $1 million and inspired a legacy of hope and cures for childhood cancer. In 2022, Backyard Breaks partnered with ALS to raise $100,000 for the Foundation.
